I'm sure Cpt. Slow is going to be thrilled. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Now the next Sonata can have "Nurburgring tuned" suspension.

Given that the lower end ones just eat up tires because YOU CANNOT ALIGN THEM what could go wrong.

The idea of a Nurburgring edition vehicle, especially a Hyundai being for sale in the US is simply hilarious.

I guess you could make the argument for a Veloster Turbo or a Genesis coupe being ring tested

You could, but it wouldn't be very convincing. It's not convincing for any mainstream manufacturer, where 99% of those 'special editions' would never see Germany, let alone the ring. I can see it being 'useful' if there was like an M3 or RS4 Nur edition, for people that are going to be at the 'ring at weekends or a few times a year. I can't see any aspiring ring driver being convinced by a Hyundai Nur edition as the way forward.

Yup, what my Veloster needs is firmer suspension that ruins the car.
Yes, lets do it.
Good on Hyundai for following the retarded lead of every other retarded manufacturer that things DA RING is a smart place to develop a car.
You are only allowed to use the Ring as a test ground if you happen to be a fiery Italian or have McLaren's hydraulic suspension.

I see this as more of a positive. Suspension is one place Hyundai can definitely improve, and with a decent commitment to sporty cars with the Genesis sedan and coupe and Veloster and probably more in the pipeline it makes sense to invest in something like this.

I already want a Genesis Coupe....Nurburgring edition would be awesome.

Or instead of dropping 35k on Ring edition Genesis, you could find a nice E46 M3 and bank the savings for repairs. ;)

Eh, I look enough like a fat white douche without help from the car. :p

In all honesty, I'd rather have the Hyundai even if both cars were new. They're much better than they used to be. I test drove a Genesis Coupe after driving a friend's Tiburon, and only my wife's presence kept me from buying that sucker.
